On our way...

We are finally on our way to Tristan's dads place, it took quite a while to fit everything in the car!!! And we gave Andreas a heart attack when he saw us walk down the stairs with our hands full of bags, leaving him behind... Poor little guy cried so hard:( but all is good now, he's sleeping in his car seat while holding my hand <3

Party Party

There is a major party going on in the village where Tristan's mum lives!!! This being a village with a population of around 200 people ( as I have mentioned before) major party means bad music and like 4 people dancing the way we all used to dance at school discos when we were 7 years old haha, quite fun to watch. Right now they are playing vamos a la playa :P  Anyways Andreas was sleeping like a baby so Tristan and I went down to have a look while "Grandma" kept an eye on my little angel. Being good parents we won a stuffed monkey for him though, since he couldn't come with us :) But I have no idea how we are going to be able to sleep cause the music is really loud...oh and there is a church bell right outside our bedroom which rings every hour and every half hour and just to be nice, Quasimodo up there rings it twice!!! loving the midnight one....2x12 "rings" haha.
Anyways gonna at least try to get some sleep so goodnight to you all

Everyone says that babies grow really fast but I never realised it was this fast!!! He is already eating real food, sitting up by him self, crawling and now standing up... and I still remeber the day he was born like it was yesterday <3 Time flies by...

Anyways we are all done packing :D I'm trying to get Andreas to take a quick nap cause we might go out for dinner so it would be good if he could get some rest before...

Good Morning :)

Another night with enough sleep :) Andreas only woke up a couple of times and we got up at 8 and were welcomed by a beautiful, quiet morning!

Today we need to finish packing, we're pretty much done, just a few more things to organise... and tomorrow we are going to Tristan's dad's place cause he is going to bring us to Nice EARLY on monday morning for our flight to Stockholm :D I'm getting so excited!!!! 

 Wednesday Dinner: Soy sauce and sesame oil marinated salmon with pine nut crust, cucumber, lime and cilantro salsa + quinoa...
( Forgot to take a picture before we started eating which is why it's a photo of a half eaten plate... :P )

Since I wrote the above I've been busy taking care of Andreas, dying my hair and having lunch so it got a bit delayed ...

Alone time with Andy <3

Tristan is at the bank with his mum so I stayed home with Andreas :) he's in his "home made" outside bath at the moment, he was in desperate need of a bath after he decided that he is big enough to eat his oat-meal himself :)

Busy Times

Our big move is getting close :D Going to sweden on monday and then off to San Diego!!!! I am sooo excited to start our new life in the US!!
Haven't been up to anything interesting in the past few days just organising things we are going to bring with us, which is not a lot because of all these stupid weight restrictions :P And Andreas is growing way too fast! Since a couple of days, everytime I go to get him after one of his naps I find him standing up in his bed!!!! I am so amazed and proud of my little baby boy :D

Morning Glory

Wow I can't even remember the last time I slept so much...The little guy slept all night, woke up around 6 and then fell back asleep until 9!!! Right now he's trying to figure out into how many pieces he can rip a magazine and I, being a huge coffee addict, am having my 120 cups of morning coffee :)
Plans for today, start packing, go by some fruit and vegetables for Andreas and go see a doctor to make sure we are not dying before our big move :)

Wonderful summer evening

It's was such a nice evening!!! Sunny and warm and a beautiful view!! And good dinner and dessert :) Pretty relaxing day today but tomorrow I really need to start packing and sort out all the stuff we had delivered here form our appartement in England... Andreas has been such a cutie all day, had a lot of fun watching me cook, and trying to open the fridge once he'd seen me do it... it is obviously very interesting with new things :)

Blog design is a nightmare!!!

Spent all morning trying to redesign the blog and ended up getting really mad so Tristan did it, as you might be able to tell....Have been relaxing in the sun with an ice coffee, a magazine and good music :) Life's good... We just gave Andreas a bath outside on the terrace... he loved it :) and then washed him in the sink haha, there's no bathtub in this house so we use what we can :) Works pretty well exept for when Andreas puts the tap in his mouth with the water running, he thought it was fun though so there was no serious damage :P And now he's taking a nap so I'm gonna start preparing what I can for tonights dinner, I'm cooking :) I love cooking and I'm actually not too bad at it, would love to open my own restaurant ( and let Tristan do all the boring stuff, like paperwork :D )

Well rested

We all finally got enough sleep, Andreas only woke up twice, once around 1h and then this morning at 7 but went back to sleep next to me in my bed <3 Tristan's sister is leaving today so I'm gonna get on with the cooking for Andreas...oh and I found the bottle, right next to my bed, in my defence it was quite dark in the room so I couldn't see much :p
Anyways gonna go work on my tan :)

Lovely evening

Had a lovely evening and dinner! Andreas was in such a good mood, laughing and just doing what he is best at: being amzing and perfect <3 Just put him to bed, our night routine is usually: diaper change and pyjamas on, then breastfeeding and then I put him to bed and give him formulae milk form a bottle just to get him used to the bottle for whenever I'm gonna stop breastfeeding. Anyways it seems as if I am a professional misplacer haha because I went into the room WITH the bottle to fix Andreas' bed and it mysteriously dissapeared.... I've looked everywhere but still havn't found it... stupid to only have one bottle ( as for dummies :P ). Luckily tonight was one of those good nights so he fell asleep after the breastfeed. He's starting to manage the bottle quite well though, loves drinking water! and formulae milk when we are out because he refuses to breastfeed in public ( meaning restrooms and other private spaces ). God what a horrible mum would ever even think about feeding THE Andreas Roquette in a public restroom??!!! haha yes the little guy has got principles!!
Anyways off to bed soon, we all need our beauty sleep, especially Tristan :)

Ok Boss !!!

So I've been yelled at several times today by my adorable fiancé because I haven't updated enough and also about the ugly design haha ( which I am going to change :P ) anyways I guess i'm gonna have to make an effort :P  It will get better when we get to SD though cause right now we're not exactly super busy doing interessting things :)
Anyways started cooking for Andreas earlier this afternoon but electricity went out so didn't get much done... I make all his food myself, not very complicated since he loves everything that has something to do with food :D I get on with the rest tomorrow when I have a bit more time ... My little baby boy is sleeping at the moment and now it's apperitif time for us "grown ups" :P and Tristan's mum is cooking a lovely dinner, Vitello Tonnato, not sure if thats how you spell it but anyways its veal that is cut into very thin slices served cold with a kind of tuna sauce and capers...

Relaxing on the terrace

We're back home, the restaurant we went to was really nice and very good food... Its really warm today so we are sitting outside on the terrace just relaxing in the sun, Andreas is in a good mood at the moment so he's crawling around on the floor trying to find interesting things to chew on :)
Tristans sister is leaving tomorrow so we're gonna have to get on with all the packing and stuff before we go to sweden next monday! But I can't wait, especially excited about San Diego :)

Still no tooth...

Woke up to a not very happy Andreas and still no tooth in sight... Have been trying all my tricks all morning and finally manage to make him fall asleep.
Anyways plans for today: lunch in a village about 30mins from Tristan's mums place and since we are in France EVERYTHING I closed on sundays so nothing special planned for this afternoon...

Teething is a....

Poor little Andreas has been crying all afternoon and all evening :( I hope this stupid tooth is gonna come out soon, I feel so bad for my little baby boy, there is nothing worse than seeing your child in pain!!! He's sleeping now and hopefully he'll get a good night sleep so he feels better tomorrow!
And for the rest of us, we had a really nice dinner, Fois gras as a starter and Tomate farcies (stuffed tomatoes) as main :) and right now we are having fun watching stand up comedies on youtube....Have to say Chris Rock is the funniest person in the world haha. And Dane Cook has made a hilarious immitation of Steve Irwin that you have to watch :) ( this was before his death...)
Anyways off to bed, its been a long day...
